CRN Foundation and Members Create Prenatal Nutrition Center – Vitamin Retailer Magazine



CRN Foundation, the educational arm of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), along with six member companies created a Prenatal Nutrition Center, which will debut at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting 2024 in San Francisco, CA.

The participating member companies are Balchem, Church & Dwight Co., dsm-firmenich, Kemin Human Nutrition and Health, OmniActive Health Technologies and Pharmavite. The partnership aims to showcase the latest research and developments in prenatal nutrition, serving as a hub for health care professionals to learn about the critical role of prenatal supplements during pregnancy, the association said.

The Prenatal Nutrition Center, located at Booth 113, will provide educational materials focused on key ingredients for prenatal supplements and addressing nutrient gaps that are prevalent during pregnancy. CRN and member companies will be available to discuss the benefits and latest advancements in prenatal supplements.

There will also be an education session during the show titled โ€œFront and Center with Prenatal Supplements: What the Science Says, and What HCPs Need to Know.โ€ The seminar features Kecia Gaither, MD, MPH, MS, MBA, FACOG, FAIUM and Michael McBurney, PhD, FASN, FCBS-SCN who will discuss the science of prenatal supplements and what health care providers need to know to advise their patients effectively.
