Katie Bond, partner at Keller and Heckman LLP, focuses her practice primarily on advertising and food and drug law, with an emphasis on risk analysis and a deep knowledge of regulatory regimes affecting labeling and marketing. She advises her clients on matters such as influencer campaigns, social media marketing, crafting and substantiating health benefit claims, “green” marketing, “Made in the USA” claims, auto ship programs, comparative advertising, compliance with rules surrounding product shipping, and the use of customer reviews and star ratings in product promotions.
One of the more challenging parts of her job is staying on top of such a wide variety of consumer products, plus influencer campaigns and social media marketing. She said thatโs where her love of reading comes in.ย
